What we do

StatusFlyer watches flight prices from your home airports, award seats in your frequent flyer programmes and the status you are working towards, and tells you only what is worth acting on. We also help groups plan trips together, work out whether to pay with cash or points, and check whether a delayed or cancelled flight entitles you to compensation.

How we make money

We are independent: no airline, bank or hotel owns us or pays for a better position. We earn money in two ways:

• Memberships. Plus, Pro and Elite add more airports, alerts and the frequent flyer tools. See pricing.
• Affiliate links. Some links to booking sites and card issuers are marked Reklamelink. If you book or apply through them, the partner may pay us a commission. It never changes your price, and it never decides which deals we show: deals are ranked by how far they are below the usual price and how well they fit you.

We don't sell travel

StatusFlyer is an information service. You book directly with the airline or a booking site, and your contract is with them. Prices are recent searches and can change before you book.

Where our data comes from

Frequent flyer rules, status thresholds and card terms are collected by hand from the programmes' and issuers' published terms. Each one shows its source and the date we checked it.
